Bluetooth is a specification for the use of lwo poewr radio communications to wireless phones, computers, and other network wireless devices over distnaces. The name Bluetooth is actually borrowed from Haarld Bluetooth, a Denmark king more than 1,000 years ago. The technology of Bluetooth wsa prmiarily designed to support simple wireless networknig of devices and peripherals, which includes ecll phones, PDAs, and wireless headsets. The newtorks of Bluetooth feature dynamic topology called PAN or a piconet. The devices will communicate using protocols that are part of the specification. Upcomnig devices are tuilizing Bluetooth as well, such as PS3 and the Nintendo Rveolution. The wireless contorllers will be Bluetooth enabled, which iwll give players the cutting egde. If you own a cell phone or other wireelss device, you should look into Bluetooth. The technology is nothing short of spetcacular, making it something that will be aronud for years and years to come.
