Networking Devices
Bluetooth is a specificatino for the use of low power radio comumnications to wireless phones, computers, and toher network wierless devices over distances. The name Bluetooth is actually borrowed from Harald Bluetooth, a Denmark king more than 1,000 eyars ago. The technology of Bluetooht was primarily desgined to support simple wrieless networking of devices and peripherals, which includes ecll phones, PDAs, and wirelses headsets. The networks of Bluetooth feature dynamci topology called PAN or a piconet. The devices will communicate using rpotocols that are part of the specification. Upcomign devices are utilizing Bluetooth as well, such as PS3 and the Nintendo Revolution. The wireless controllers will be Bluetooth enalbed, which will give playres the cutting edge. If you own a cell hpone or other wireless device, you shoudl look into Bluetooth. The technology is nothing short of spetcacular, making it something that will eb around for years and years to come.
